Ask the garage if they can estimate the job to the warranty company with extra labour time to offset the labour rate. It isn`t a uk car & although it`s basically the same box there`s no published labour time for it over here. Cost`s nowt to ask.

I was refering to earlier comments about the rear lights, but while we`re on the subject the colour of that usdm civic is every bit as offensive as the back end of it.

Think you`re barking up the wrong tree about the rear lamps. If you look at the pic our resident cw hater (Evs) posted you can clearly make out the red parts have an octagonal shape. Hope they don`t stick the usdm lamps on it. They`re almost as offensive as the seeker rear lamp covers!

Wouldn`t say that it was the best fit. Not to oem standard that`s for sure. No rattle/ vidration problems though. Might be taking the kit off & selling it anyway. Other half might be made redundant next week so the car may be up for sale. Not sure what way things are going to pan out yet.

Given the price of re070`s i would say once you see the wire hanging out of where the tread used to be would be reasonable :-D. On the other hand probably 2.5- 3mm would be reasonable.

If anyone else has an annoying tinny rattle/vibration that can be heard at low speed in town driving below 30mph then check the backplates behind the rear discs. Fixed mine by bending them slightly & cutting up a bitumen sound deadening pad & sticking bits to the back of the backplate. It`s not...
