A big HELLO from Pompey!

Hi all,

Am I still a newbie if I've been an 'inactive' (to say the least!) member since July 2008!? I haven't actually posted anything in my year-and-a-half membership!! haha. Well, better late than never I say. So a big HELLO to everyone on this forum.

I've been a proud owner of a CW FD2 since August 2009. Car has a Gruppe M Induction kit fitted - was already done by the previous owner. I haven't done any mods to it yet, and probably won't for a while - got a 2 month old baby so money all goes on nappies! Front tyres need replacing BADLY though, most likely going to go with Hankook RS2's but £200+ a pair still aint cheap by my standards.....or current situation anyway.

Haven't actually taken the car on any trackdays yet, it's sole purpose at the moment is as an everyday use family car (and it does a great job at that might I add).

Indeed, some nice shine going on there The challenge is to keep the same dedication now you’re a dad! Glad you decided to post, must be a relief after all this time!
 
Thanks guys. Yeah those pics were taken quite a while ago, not easy keeping it that clean - especially lately with all the crappy weather we've been having. Maybe in a few years time I can get my boy to wash it instead!

Are there any other FD2 owners down here or am I by my lonely self?

Welcome mate! Hope you find a bit of time to enjoy the FD2 properly.......
 
Joining you soon....picking up my FD2 tomorrow from Herbie in MK - based Lymington New Forest so a good trip back to sunny Hampshire.
Will be taking a "scenic" on the way home.

So anyone else in S Coast?
 
Yeah I know man.....I've just been soaking up all the information like a sponge. Wait, did I just call myself a sponge?
