Adjust Headlights?

How the hell do you get to the driver's side headlight level adjuster knob thingy!? Getting to the passenger's side one is a piece of cake, but I just can't seem to get to the driver's side! - and I've got small hands :oops: Surely I don't have to take off the bumper then take out the headlight unit in order to adjust the level? Wouldn't be able to tell if it is being set to the right level if the light wasn't fixed into the car! Anyone?
 
Never looked at this but I am sure there is a legal requirement where you have to be able adjust the headlights without removing the front end.

Also aren't the headlights self levelling, isn't that what the level sensor attached to the OS rear of the car is for???
 
I don't know if they're self levelling or not. My offside light used to be a lot lower than the nearside one but it was a simple job of just raising the level with the little knob behind the cluster. However, since raising it to the same level, I've noticed that they are both too high now! If they are self levelling, mine don't work!
 
Don't quote me, but i was sure i read somewhere that they aint self levelling! could be wrong but :wink:
