So my FD2 has been kept within the Forum. It was a great drive back from NI.

Here are some of my snaps I took of the beauty the other day.
This car has had a lot of looks. I popped into my local Honda to get some coolant the other day and had all the sales and service team looking at it.
Today done a little bit of shopping and when I got back a FN2 parked along side... A small grin appeared knowing I had the superior car :dance: :rofll:

Seriously though hats off to Honda for making such a fantastic car.

Looking good mate saw your FN2 at japfest 2 last year, Looking forward to seeing this at japfest this year. Do you have any plans for it, Type R decals on doors would look better imo.

The FN came on a lot but mostly during the winter months. +1 on the decals. They were in that spot when I brought the car so need to put some new ones on the door. Do you know if they are just a standard size or are they size specific for the FD2?
 
Glad to see your loving it mate. Theyre an awesome car, and the longer you own it and get familiar with it the better they are.

Looking 8) mate, i have the decals in the same place on mine and actually like them there, personal preference i suppose. :-D
 
So the car is booked into the bodyshop on Monday to have the wheels sprayed to the same colour as my FN2's

But I have a question. As you know the roof is wrapped black and have a black fin on the wing what do you guys think about wrapping the mirror's black. I think it will go one way or another it will look either really cool or really pants but cant decide. :BangHead:

What do you think?
 
Personally I prefer the white wheels on a white car, however if you go for black rims then the black mirrors may work. If you stay with white rims then white mirrors.
 
I really like the white wheels but my car is a daily driver and impossible to keep them looking nice. Constantly covered in brake dust and road mess.

Same here...so i had my wheels painted in Kaiser Silver...really happy with them... :-D

You should get your wheels powder-coated and lacquered. Had mine done earlier this week after noticing the first signs of corrosion and I seem to have stumbled across a magic formula - the surfaces are now so hard and shiny they seem to act as a repellent for brake dust. 50 miles in and they’ve barely changed appearance, it's like night and day compared with before.

If you do go down this route bear in mind the fact you can’t mix powders and the nearest match to Champ White is RAL9010, which is a little bright. You can get around that by getting your specialist to powder coat in primer as normal, and then do a wet base coat in Champ White, followed by a powdercoat lacquer. Matches the bodywork a treat.
 
UPDATE!!

So picked up the car today from my bodyshop. The car went in for a wheel colour change and this is how it came out looking like.

The colour is gorgeous up close and this pic from my phone really does the car no justice at all. Some proper pics will be uplaoded soon.

Red H's will be ordered tomorrow
 
They look really good was unsure when you said your going for grey at japfest but that looks awesome :glassesbig:
 
Thanks for all the positive comments, the red H's will make them look 10x's better. Going to order some today as I never got around to it the other day.

Just got to work, roads were nice and quiet and now im a little more in love with this car. :twisted:
