Elephant/Admiral

Seem like it is, it states Type R IMPORT, but I just done a quote for myself and it came out £400 more than the likes of Sky & Aplan

Fair play, have your tried Sky insurance?
Elephant quoted £950 28yrs old 4yrs NCB and no convictions, even with the max 10yrs NCB it only dropped to £808  , compaired to the £650 from Sky :-D

Aplan have been the ceapest for me over the last 6 years, but the current renewal takes the pi$$. Will see if they can better it.

For ref, anyone doing internet quotes where the model details are questionable should always follow it up with a call to confirm all is correct. It is not unknown for model details to be incorrect, and the emphasis is on you to ensure policy details are correct else you may not have valid insurance

Hence, why I stuck with Aplan :)

I was with admiral for 5 years with my calibra, then i bought a dc5, phoned them to get a quote and they said that they dont insure imports so i had to change companys, mind you that was about 2 years ago.

I'm with some specialist company via Noel Dazeley. 40 years old, 8 years NCB with business cover, 15k miles/year, on street parking with my named partner on policy = £530. A Plan wanted £650 and wouldn't budge.

Has anyone used admiral to insure there car as I am currently looking to buy and have my ins with them
thanks

As long as you have checked your policy's as most insurers don't list the 4door sallon =FD2..

I had a good quote from A-Plan but ended up staying with Adrian Flux £450 for the year fully comp with full ncb.

I'm 35 & its parked in my drive !!
