Painting costs

I need some work done on my car.

No damage just little marks in the paint.

They're are all really small things. So small I never noticed them when buying the car, but noticed them when giving the car a clean.
The front end is just normal stone chips. Touched up with a white (not CW) pen

Any ideas on doing the following"

Front bumper
Bonnet
Both wings
Rear Bumper
Boot lid (number plate recess)
Roof

Just wondering if its worth doing as they're such little things. Or to wait a couple years and go for full re-spray?

they must av put very few coats of paint on the fd2 the paintwork is a nightmare to mind :rofll: when u say u used touch up not cw what colour did you use i ask this because i wanted to get some off honda

I didnt use it, it was the previous owner. But its just white so stands out from the CW

This is will good to get done in one go as a touch up spray. I did this on my FN2 quite abit due to it being NHB and stone chips everywhere. This way they can give it a quick flash over covering chips etc and blend into the doors. I wouldnt pay more than £500 for this.

I have some quite large stone chips on the front at the moment so looking at getting my one done. I have a bodyshop which I alway go to and their work is perfect. Will put up some pics once I get it done.

I know Chipsaway are a bit hit and miss but the local one I've used has been pretty good. Not sure if it's cost effective for you with so many areas you want done but if they are just small ones it might be worth getting a quote. I take it you want to look spotless for Japfest then :)

I don't think anyone will notice them without pointing it out. It's just me I think.

I think I'm going to give it a couple more years of road abuse then get the whole thing done

That's what I would do

My car is peppered with stone chips Neil - it's a road car that gets used in anger so don't worry Neil. you'll not be the only FD2 there with less than perfect paintwork!

True. My car is used everyday and racks up the miles so can't really complain.

The stone chips I can deal with but white touch up on champ white...
