was pushing the fd flat out today and around 139 the speedo seem to stick for a couple of secs as the revs kept climbing, then it seemed to jump to 146 and stick at that but had to slow down at that point?
what top speeds are people getting from theirs?
and anyone noticed or have an explanation for what i experianced

I had similar issues but only when I hit 88mph.

Next thing I knew, tyres on fire and I was back in 1955. :-o

I hit 160mph with no problems of speedo sticking. Very surprised I still had plenty of rpm's left. Could the sticking issue be down to what sort of speedo conversion has been used?

Yeh, i'd put it down to some sort of glitch in the speed convertor!!

I hope all this is being done legally on track or on the autobahn, if not I suggest we cease this thread now.

i got a 141 on das autobahn, that was using the speedo on my sat nav. Still had over 3k rpm left, wasn't brave enough to go any faster, the autobahn is a scary place. My fds speedo doesn't show a correct speed either, soon as you go over about 120mph, starts to jump up and down by about 10mph which you'll see if you watch any of my track videos.

thanks for the reply, so im not alone with an iffy speedo. will have to buy a sat nav to be sure i guess.
any ideas what could cause this or fix? i have flashpro fitted by cpl , think il give them a call

Of course all above board and legal, performed in the correct places.... I love the autobahns;0) shame I only see them once or twice a year

My speedo is obscenely accurate since having Flashpro fitted. 30mph is 30mph gps on my sat nav. Even random speeds like 78mph on the motorway is 78mph on my sat nav. As the speedo ticks +1mph so does my sat nav.

Any speedo issues at high speed could be as a result of the speed signal convertor being used (kph - mph) or simply the speedo as JDM cars are limited to 120kph.

I had the same problem when I tested my FD2 on FORZA ;) ...i left it at that and its never bothered me since. But now you mentioned it I am curious.

my speedo also dose the same. i had a few jap cars that still read in km.
i think it would look good in the fd2 because of the digital read out. when your doing 120mph which is about every time you get in the car. the clocks would show 200km :glassesbig:

124 mph is the most i've been up to... before i turned to the gf with a face like  but hers was like  so had to slow down again... i was in the zone.. never been on a race track
