Tyre size for a 18x9.5 et45 wheel

As above, at the moment I'm running a 225-40-18 but not at all happy with the set up!

Looking to buy some very expensive track tyres over the winter and wanting to get the right size!

Anyone running a similar wheel size and offset? I'm thinking maybe a 235-35-18 or 245-35-18 but I'm thinking I might have arch problems! I could run more negative camber but I don't want to run too much as that'll ruin it's ability on the track!..

did you end up buying a different size tyre in the end? see those 225 were stretched alot on the 9.5 rim
 
Yeah I agree, definitely running too much stretch! I ended up buying a set of 235/40/18 tyres, fit great on the wheels but having loads of problems with them catching the arches now :(
